Services and Location

Clinical specialties include traumatic stress, depression, anxiety, low self-esteem, sexuality and life transitions.

I am a well-trained and disciplined therapist, employing a range of theoretical perspectives tailored to the needs of my clients. For more than a decade, I have acquired a wealth of experience working with college students and young adults, artists, non-traditional families, and people in life transitions, as well as couples and individuals coping with issues of money management. I help people develop personal awareness and uncover behavioral patterns that are self-defeating and keep them from facing challenges to achieving their goals. I also help those in the grip of a specific crisis or have general depression and relationship issues. I work collaboratively with psychopharmacologists when medications are indicated. I have a strong conviction that therapy can help people lead the happy and fulfilling lives they dream of having. My experience working with fears of intimacy, creative and professional inhibition, anxiety and depression has taught me that these issues and others can be overcome.
